Jessica and Josh weren't too sure what to expect with an engagement photography session. They expressed to me before our session that they loved my style of photography because they didn't want to do any gimmicks or silly poses. They have been dating a long time and just really wanted photographs they showed off their love for each other.

So when we met up I reminded them, "I don't want you guys to interact with me too much...just show me how you love each other. I promise that within a few minutes you'll forget that I have a camera in my hands." Well hot damn, these two rocked their engagement session from that moment on.

They brought their sweet pup (and a helping hand to take him for a walk once we got some images with him) and it worked wonderfully.

Jessica and Josh are having a winter wedding so we wanted to keep with that "theme", but when a foot of snow was dumped on us a few days before our engagement session we were curious to see how that would pan out with a location that doesn't plow. The weather made a complete turn around, warmed up and all the snow melted. It was even warm enough to not need jackets.
